Customer‑Supplied Products

By requesting installation of customer‑supplied products, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

  • Customer Responsibility for Products Provided

All products, materials, fixtures, and equipment supplied by the customer are the sole responsibility of the customer. We do not guarantee the quality, compatibility, condition, or performance of any customer‑provided items.

  • No Liability for Product‑Related Failures or Damage

We are not responsible for any defects, failures, leaks, malfunctions, performance issues, or damages arising from the installation or use of customer‑supplied products. This includes, but is not limited to, manufacturer defects, improper storage, missing components, or incompatibility with existing systems.

  •  Limited Liability for Installation Work

Our responsibility is limited solely to the workmanship of the installation itself. We are not liable for any damage, loss, or additional costs that occur as a result of the product’s failure.

  • Additional Labor or Materials

If customer‑supplied products are incomplete, incompatible, defective, or require additional parts or modifications, the customer is responsible for any additional labor charges, materials, or delays that may result.

  • No Warranty on Customer‑Supplied Items

Any warranties or guarantees related to customer‑supplied products must be handled directly with the manufacturer or retailer. Our company does not provide warranty coverage for products we did not supply.

  • Acceptance of Terms
    By providing your own products for installation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this liability release.

Dear Sir or Madam:


This is not a lien. This is a notice that we are required to send pursuant to Minnesota Statutes

§514.011(subd. 1) and is sent to you to comply with this law. The law, and this notice, is sent to

inform you about the lien laws that apply to the construction project, and is designed to protect

you from unexpected liens and the prospect of paying twice.

The following language is quoted directly from the Minnesota Statutes, and it is required we

send it to you in all-caps:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT:

 

(a) ANY PERSON OR COMPANY SUPPLYING LABOR OR MATERIALS FOR THIS

IMPROVEMENT TO YOUR PROPERTY MAY FILE A LIEN AGAINST YOUR

PROPERTY IF THAT PERSON OR COMPANY IS NOT PAID FOR THE

CONTRIBUTIONS.

 

(b) UNDER MINNESOTA LAW, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO PAY PERSONS WHO

SUPPLIED LABOR OR MATERIALS FOR THIS IMPROVEMENT DIRECTLY AND

DEDUCT THIS AMOUNT FROM OUR CONTRACT PRICE, OR WITHHOLD THE

AMOUNTS DUE THEM FROM US UNTIL 120 DAYS AFTER COMPLETION OF THE

IMPROVEMENT UNLESS WE GIVE YOU A LIEN WAIVER SIGNED BY PERSONS

WHO SUPPLIED ANY LABOR OR MATERIAL FOR THE IMPROVEMENT AND

WHO GAVE YOU TIMELY NOTICE.
